Static Osteogenesis versus Dynamic Osteogenesis: A Comparison between Two Different Types of Bone Formation
نویسندگان
چکیده
In contrary to what has traditionally been believed, bone formation can occur through two different types of osteogenesis: static (SO) and dynamic (DO) osteogenesis, which are thus named because the former is characterized by pluristratified cords unexpectedly stationary osteoblasts differentiate at a fairly constant distance from blood capillaries transform into osteocytes without moving onset site, while latter distinguished well-known typical monostratified laminae movable osteoblasts. The osteogenesis differ in multiple aspects both structural functional viewpoints. Besides osteoblast arrangement, polarization, motion, SO DO terms time occurrence (first later DO), conditioning factors they sensitive (endothelial-derived cytokines or mechanical loading, respectively), distribution give rise (haphazard ordered planes, collagen texture resulting deposition (woven lamellar, properties form (poor for due high cellularity woven good since located more suitable conditions perceive loading), finally functions each, i.e., provides preliminary rigid scaffold on take place, produces tissue according mechanical/metabolic needs.

Static and dynamic osteogenesis.
Two subsequent different types of bone formation, we respectively named static osteogenesis (SO) and dynamic osteogenesis (DO), were observed in intramembranous ossification centers of newborn rabbits and chick embryos as well as during bone repair. In all cases the onset of intramembranous ossification is characterized by the appearance, around the vessels, of pluristratified cords of unexpect...
متن کاملStatic and dynamic bone histomorphometry in children with osteogenesis imperfecta.
Osteogenesis imperfecta (OI) is a genetic disorder characterized by increased bone fragility and low bone mass. Four clinical types are commonly distinguished. Schematically, type I is the mildest phenotype, type II is usually lethal, type III is the most severe form compatible with postnatal survival, and type IV is moderately severe. Although mutations affecting collagen type I are responsibl...

dynamic assessment according to vygotskys sociocultural theory, states that instruction and assessment are interrelated. using static forms of assessment with second and foreign language students could do more harm than good. many teachers neglect to take account of the complexity involved in learning a second or foreign language and often wonder why learning of a language take so long. thi...
Enhancement of bone formation during distraction osteogenesis: pediatric applications.
Delayed bone healing during distraction osteogenesis negatively affects clinical outcome. In addition to autologous bone grafting, several mechanical, chemical, biologic, and external treatment modalities may be employed to promote bone growth during distraction osteogenesis in the pediatric patient. Mechanical approaches include compressive loading of the distraction regenerate, increased freq...
متن کاملBone formation markers in adults with mild osteogenesis imperfecta.
BACKGROUND Plasma concentrations of procollagen peptides are decreased in osteogenesis imperfecta (OI), whereas other bone formation markers may be increased. We examined the utility of combining these markers in the diagnosis of OI in adults. METHODS We measured plasma concentrations of procollagen-1 N-peptide (P1NP), osteocalcin, and bone alkaline phosphatase in 24 patients with nondeformin...
